About me

I’m Paul Wright, a software engineer based in Cambridge, England.

I have a physics degree, although I remember less of it as time goes by.

I used to be an evangelical Christian; then, around 2002 to 2003, I gradually changed my mind. Currently, I’m a strong atheist with respect to Christianity: I think it’s very probably false. I went on Premier Christian Radio to explain why I de-converted. I’ve also given a talk to the Cambridge University Atheist and Agnostic Society about it.

As a result of reading around a bit after leaving Christianity, I’ve become interested in some bits of analytic philosophy: philosophy of religion, obviously, but also epistemology, rationality, and the philosophy of science.

When I’m not working, I spend a lot of my time dancing: I started off doing ballroom dancing as a student, but now mostly do lindyhop.
